This old-school oceanside course features an attractive blend of parkland and links golf with views of the Pacific Ocean, Point Pinos Lighthouse, Crespi Pond, and Asilomar's natural sand dunes. The first nine debuted in 1932 with a design by 1904 and 1905 U.S. Amateur champion Chandler Egan and plays through the forested areas of Pacific Grove. Egan's nine takes you through inland terrain reminds of English rural courses. The second nine opened in 1960 and was designed by Pebble Beach co-designer Jack Neville.

Played 9/1/19, great day as it was a little overcast. High handicappers will like the course as some of the holes are pretty short. Fairways were in pretty good shape and the greens were pretty good as well. People in the Pro Shop were very helpful with telling you things you would like to know about the course. Will play again as soon as possible

Spectacular Monterey Bay views on the back nine. A lovely little gem that isn't overly difficult, but makes for a beautiful day of seaside golf.

I have played here several times. It is a fun course. You get what you pay for. I recommend walking. As stated by everyone the back nine is worth your money

The front nine leaves a little to be desired but the back nine is as good as many of the surrounding ocean courses for a fraction of the costs.
