Sugar Bush Golf Club opened in 1965. Harold Paddock Sr. designed Sugar Bush. It is an eighteen-hole course with two distinctly different nines and fast greens. The championship rating/slope is 72.4/121. The total yardage is 6571 and par is 72. Described as "Nature's Best" by the Warren Tribune Chronicle, Sugar Bush is full of challenging topography and scenic rolling hills. The Cleveland Plain Dealer, in its Golf Monday section, stated, "Out of the way, Sugar Bush is out of the ordinary!". We at Sugar Bush think it is worth the trip. This is one of the "DIAMONDS" in the rough. Once you play it you will want go back and play again and again. My group goes at least once in the spring and then whenever we are available during the season.
