Polo Fields Golf & Country Club
5200 Polo Fields Dr
Ann Arbor, MI 48103-9043, United States
Ann Arbor, MI 48103-9043, United States
734.998.1555
This club now has two locations; this is the original location. (The club recently bought the former Washtenaw Country Club in Ypsilanti.) William Newcomb designed the Ann Arbor course, which is a heavily-wooded parkland-style course that opened in 1995 in a luxury residential community.
While Polo Fields is a private, non-equity country club, since 2009 they have had a "member for a day" program, where the general public can use the facility. While Polo Fields has some sculpted mounding that suggests a links feel, the course has a bit of water, wetlands, and stands of hardwood trees.
Access is from Interstate 94 at the Zeeb Road exit.

A mostly flat course surrounded by houses with a series of major power lines running down the middle of the layout. The times we have been there, the course has few players and pace is superb. At $55 for a guest, it is a bit pricey. The maintenance is very good but the scenery views are pretty average.
