This course opened in 1969 on the site of a former apple orchard; the architect was the late and notable Geoffrey S. Cornish. With co-owned and nearby Fox Meadow Country Club, the club has co-hosted several U.S. Open qualifiers, as well as the 2011 and 2012 Ohio Open. While the club is private, they will host outside group and corporate golf events with prior arrangement.
