This Donald Ross design opened in 1926, although in June of 2012, the club began a ten-month, $3 million restoration project, which included converting the green complexes from bent to Champion Bermuda grass. This is not surprising, since the club hosts the PGA Tour's annual Wyndham Championship, previously known as the Greater Greensboro Open.
